About the Project:

This project, managed by the General Education Center, focuses on “Production and Ecology: New Perspectives on Bamboo Harvesting and Indigenous Life” in Taoyuan City’s Fuxing District.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher with proficiency in office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  2. Skills: Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills; comfortable working with diverse individuals.
  3. Interests: Enthusiastic about environmental education, indigenous cultures, sustainability, social engagement, and the bamboo industry.

Job Description:

Assist in the execution of the “Rural Revitalization Fund Project” on bamboo harvesting and indigenous lifestyles, based at the General Education Center. Duties involve traveling to Taoyuan City’s Fuxing District or related locations.

Employment Period:

– Start: From the actual date of employment, with a 3-month probation period. Upon successful completion, employment will extend until December 31, 2024. Continuation in 2025 will depend on performance evaluations and budget availability.

Compensation:

– Salary will be discussed or aligned with National Central University’s full-time employee standards, including labor insurance, health insurance, pension, and year-end bonuses.

We are thrilled to announce that the “Sustainable ‘Fuxing’ – Building Resilient Smart Communities” team’s photography project, *Resilience, Revival, and the Bamboo Gang*, has won the Popular Photography Award. This captivating piece features local residents holding sickles, symbolizing the diverse facets of life in Fuxing District—from the livelihood of mountain communities and the cultural heritage of bamboo in the Atayal tribe, to the crucial aspects of forest conservation and carbon neutrality.

The artwork also reflects the collective efforts of the project team and stakeholders as they navigate and manage bamboo forests to foster resilient communities. During the event from November 2 to 20, the project garnered an impressive 1,981 votes, earning it this well-deserved recognition.
