To explore issues related to soil and water conservation in bamboo forests, our team hosted a seminar titled “Applications of Bamboo Forests in Disaster Prevention and Sustainability.” The event brought together representatives from the Taiwan Forestry Research Institute, the Taipei Association of Soil and Water Conservation Engineers, the Department of Forestry and Natural Resources at National Chiayi University, and You Shun Bamboo Co., Ltd. Discussions centered on the potential of bamboo resources in disaster prevention and sustainable development, fostering cross-sector collaboration to identify practical solutions for the future of the Fuxing District.
