(Closed) 2023 Recruitment: Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Essential Requirements:
- Doctoral degree from a recognized domestic or international institution.
- Proficiency in office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with experience in independent research and journal paper writing.
- Ability to engage with individuals from various fields; must enjoy communication, possess a cross-disciplinary perspective, and demonstrate strong coordination and resource integration skills.
- Familiarity or enthusiasm for topics such as risk society, environmental sustainability, local revitalization, community development, social practice, social innovation, indigenous environments, and climate change (socioeconomic and environmental systems).
- Experience in organizing events, meetings, and cross-institutional exchanges, with the ability to actively identify collaborative opportunities.
- Willingness to travel for work, primarily in Taoyuan City’s Fuxing District (mountain areas); must hold a driver’s license and have road driving experience.
- Applicants should provide an understanding of the USR program and propose how they can contribute to the team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in planning and executing projects related to environmental education, social innovation, and local revitalization.
- Experience with administrative document processing is advantageous.
- Intermediate English communication skills (TOEIC 700 or equivalent).

Job Description: Support the project leader in executing the Ministry of Education’s third phase of the University Social Responsibility (USR) project, mbhoyaw “Fuxing” – a cross-domain collaboration focused on sustainability.
Employment Period: Starting from the actual date of employment in 2023, with a 3-month probation period. Upon successful completion of the probation period, the contract will extend until December 31, 2023. Continued employment in 2024 will depend on performance evaluations and budget availability.
Compensation: To be discussed or based on the National Central University postdoctoral researcher compensation standards, including labor insurance, health insurance, pension contributions, and year-end bonus.
