We worked in collaboration with Yi Sheng Primary School under this scheme and installed a turbidimeter at the filtration system of the water tower on the campus. The data from monitoring will be integrated into the Fuxing District Sustainable Environment Learning Website as a reference for the teachers and pupils in understanding the quality of the spring water and also observing the association between the turbidity of water and the changes in the environment. This information will be used as teaching materials in class in the future. We also installed a water quality monitoring system in Youxiayun aquaponics farm to monitor the pH value, temperature, ammonia nitrogen content, and nitrate nitrogen content of water, which will be displayed on the panel in real-time as reference for the teachers to control the status of water quality of the pond. This could be served as reference for food agriculture education as well.
