It was not easy to hold such kind of events at Balin resilient community workshop due to the influence of the pandemic and the framing high season. Further discussion will be made with Balin Church for designing the action plan. Working in cooperation with Taoyuan City Safety and Care Association established by Balin Church and World Vision International, and in combination with after-class tutoring of the local community, we advocated the topics on disaster prevention like earthquake, fire, and tropical storms with the pupils of Balin Primary School through the setup of interesting disaster prevention topics and small scale activities. Bringing the topic of disaster home and to the tribes through the proper idea of school pupils in disaster prevention and continuing the development of the idea of voluntary disaster prevention at the community.

In response to the needs of Yi Sheng Primary School, we organized a lecture on life-saving. Officers from the Fire Bureau were invited to talk about safety at local streams and rivers and awaken the pupils of safety in swimming during Summer time. A program of building structure inspection was also held at Yi Sheng Primary School. The professional technicians led the primary school supervisors and students from NCU to conduct inspection on the building structure of the campus and present recommendations for improvement. This will serve as reference for the school in the assessment of building structure safety.
