Assessment and installation of the micro power grid system
For upgrading the capacity of Fuxing District in rescue in disaster, we work in cooperation with Ming Hsin Energy Co., Ltd. To conduct evaluation and planning of the micro power grid system. After several visits, coordination and explanation, we reached consensus with Xiayun Li and the local government authorities through consultation. At the initial stage, planning was made in combination with the 4 aspects of “”no worry of water supply””, “”no worry of power supply””, “”self-help in emergency””, and “”Tourism package””. A solution for the emergency power supply and water supply in the rural area has been made through the use of solar energy and energy storage technology. The administrative office of Xiayun Li is used as the demonstration site for this purpose. The first move will be the integration of photovoltaic energy and the micro power grid system for energy storage to serve as an emergency source of power supply. We also combined the smart power management system to prolong the effective power supply hours, use green energy properly and achieve the goal of energy saving with the system. We also matched with the APP and the website to monitor power generation and consumption in real-time as a experimental site for Fuxing District in energy development. This could be served as reference for related energy development in the future.
A small micro power grid system will also be installed at Yisheng Primary School then. The power supply is mainly for campus broadcasting and the CCTV system, and as an emergency source of power supply in case of power failure. After several months of pilot running, we discovered that the power generated from photovoltaic source is abundant. The supervisor of general affairs of the primary school use the power supply for many other purposes. An attempt of feeding the power supply from the micro grid to the monitoring equipment, elevating doors of the school has been made. This is a source of emergency power supply and is an efficient use of green energy to achieve the goal of carbon reduction on campus.
