The results of the 2021 “Global USR University Citizen” survey have been released. The top-ranking universities in each category are as follows: National Taiwan University for large public general universities, National Chung Hsing University for medium-sized public general universities, Taipei Medical University for private general universities, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology for public technical and vocational universities, and Chaoyang University of Technology for private technical and vocational universities. As universities worldwide increasingly embrace the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), “sustainability” has emerged as the most crucial keyword determining this year’s rankings.
