NCU’s Sustainable ‘Revitalization’ – The USR team for Smart and Resilient Tribal Development is promoting sustainable ‘revitalization’ through the management of bamboo forests and the development of the bamboo industry. In collaboration with the Hsinchu Forest District Office of the Forestry Bureau, Huiyo Re-Creation Co., Ltd., the Fuxing Moso Bamboo Industry Development Association of Taoyuan City, and Youshun Bamboo Industry Co., Ltd., they have jointly planned the ‘Bamboo Framework for the Future – Bamboo Forest Management Documentary Special Exhibition.’ The exhibition will be held from September 23 to October 23 at the Visitor Center of the Dongyanshan National Forest Recreation Area. The public is invited to participate and show concern for the development of Taiwan’s bamboo industry, initiating new actions for sustainable mountain forests!
