When consuming social resources, the faculty members and students are expected to be more concerned about public topics and make use of their specialized skills and knowledge to give feedback to the society. They will concentrate at the community where the university is located to focus on community concern, industrial links, sustainable environment, food safety, and long-term care, and other essential social practices like the topics of joint creation between the youths and elderly, social design, and cultural heritages. In the course of unfolding the scheme, the USR task force fully demonstrates their strength in professional knowledge and innovation, and plays the role as a think tank in the local community.
