Taoyuan’s Fuxing District is rich in mountainous landscapes and Indigenous culture, yet faces disaster risks and industrial challenges. Over the past six years, National Central University has collaborated across disciplines to integrate disaster prevention, energy, environment, culture, and industry, working with local communities to realize a sustainability-centered vision of “mbhoyaw Fuxing,” where mbhoyaw in Atayal signifies harvest, growth, and a place-based perspective.
