The production and sale of makino bamboo is confronted by countless challenges in contemporary society. In this scheme, we worked in collaboration with the local team to map out the “”Production and ecology: A new look of makino bamboo lumbering and tribal life program””, and applied with the Council of Agriculture for the Rural Revitalization Fund program with the expectation of assisting the operation of the bamboo forest in the district and direction of production. External resources will also be injected to link with sustainable development of environment. The main task is to work in cooperation with local partners to launch environmental sustainable governance, bamboo forest ecological tour, market development, research and development of the quality and application of makino bamboo, and related topics. Peripheral business of bamboo industry will also be advocated with assistance to the local community and enterprises to align with ESG, and carbon net zero emission and related newly emerged topics.
