In light of the frequent incidents of building collapses due to earthquakes, our project team, led by instructors, took students to Yisheng Elementary School, where a professional (civil or structural engineer) conducted a comprehensive inspection of the school’s building structure and held discussions with the principal. The inspection results indicated that since the last structural assessment, Yisheng Elementary School has demonstrated excellent maintenance of its buildings, with no issues identified that require improvement. This reflects the school’s significant emphasis and effort in building maintenance.
